pyxplot software package provides data plotting program producing publication-quality output, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pyxplot
pyxplot is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pyxplot package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pyxplot *
You will get with pyxplot package name, version, architecture and description in a table
